Job summary

INFUSE is seeking a detail-oriented B2B proofreader to join our team. This role focuses on editing and proofreading long-form and short-form content to ensure accuracy, polish, on-brand messaging, and alignment with client goals.

The right candidate communicates well with writers and internal teams to maintain high-quality content and keep projects moving forward, while meeting deadlines and upholding brand voice across multiple campaigns.

Qualifications

• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, syntax, style, and usage.
• 1+ year of proofreading or editing experience.
• B2B content experience preferred.
• Familiarity with style guides and brand voice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread B2B content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, usage, clarity, consistency, and brand voice.
• Ensure content aligns with client style guides, editorial standards, messaging, and project requirements.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to writers.
• Cross-check references, claims, data, and source material for accuracy.
• Identify factual inconsistencies, unsupported statements, and potential plagiarism.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and other departments.
• Review and occasionally revise internal documents and client-facing materials.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain a high standard of quality across all reviewed content.
