Overview

Under the guidance of the PI and project managers, and backstopping from the Landscape Alliance Q4I team, the Latin America PMEL coordinator will be responsible for project monitoring, evaluation, learning and impact assessment for the IKI projects CAP4BIO and Transformar para Conservar across Brazil, Colombia and Peru, as well as other projects within LANDSCAPE ALLIANCE’s Latin America portfolio. The role will ensure that partner data, indicator evidence, safeguards information, gender and inclusion data, learning outputs and impact evidence are collected, quality-assured, synthesized and used for adaptive management and donor reporting. The Coordinator will work closely with the country teams from Landscape Alliance projects to track implementation of the results framework, indicators such as project specific and Donor Standard Indicators and Strategic Objectives reporting requirements and project milestones, also engaging in culturally responsive evaluation when appropriate. The incumbent will be responsible for the related bi-annual MEL and Impact reporting to donors. The role will also strengthen LANDSCAPE ALLIANCE’s Latin America capacity in impact evaluation, with particular emphasis on qualitative methods such as key informant interviews, focus group discussions, outcome harvesting, contribution analysis, process tracing, case studies and evidence rubrics. The initial workload will be approximately 50-60% for CAP4BIO and 30-40% for Transformar para conservar, and 10-20% for other projects (this repartition can change depending on the evolution of LANDSCAPE ALLIANCE’s Latin America portfolio and project activities).
