Bluelight is seeking an experienced IT project manager to lead software development initiatives for diverse clients from a remote-friendly consultancy. You will oversee scope, schedules, and budgets, align multi-team efforts, and report status to executives, while coordinating with third-party vendors and ensuring on-time delivery.

• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path and buffer management.
• Experience managing client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies and integration timelines.
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical‑path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required‑by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change‑control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third‑party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate‑based acceptance criteria and client‑facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non‑technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
