Job summary

Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company is seeking a Project Engineer - OSP with fiber design experience. The role focuses on designing OSP networks (aerial/underground) and FTTH layouts, including horizontal and vertical cabling, topology diagrams, and site surveys.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Google Earth is required; GIS knowledge is a plus. English at a high-intermediate level or higher is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in OSP fiber optic network and FTTH design.
• Experience in FTTH horizontal and vertical cabling design.
• Familiarity with aerial and underground installation methods.

Job description

We are looking for an Project Engineer - OSP with experience in fiber optic network design, including aerial and underground routes.The ideal candidate should have knowledge of FTTH networks, AutoCAD and intermediate-high or advanced level of English.

What will you do?

• Design Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic networks, including aerial and underground fiber routes.
• Develop FTTH network designs, including horizontal distribution and vertical fiber cabling inside buildings.
• Prepare fiber optic network topology diagrams, route plans, fiber allocation diagrams, and detailed engineering drawings. Conduct site surveys to assess installation feasibility, existing infrastructure, and construction requirements.
• Prepare BOQs, material lists, and technical design documentation, while coordinating to support network construction and implementation.

What we need?
