Petrochemicals Innovation Lead

Description

A leading global petrochemicals manufacturer seeks a highly skilled innovation lead to drive sustainable growth in their Ammonia Technologist - Agr team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute R&D programs to advance commercial technologies, focusing on sustainability improvement and energy efficiency.
• Lead the development of new process technology, scale-up, and implementation in commercial plants, with a focus on Green and Blue Ammonia solutions.
• Provide technical support to commercial plants during shutdowns, turnovers, and re-commissioning, ensuring smooth operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, using root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering or materials science.
• At least 15 years of experience in new product development, with a strong track record of collaboration with start-ups and academia.
• Strategic thinking and leadership skills to influence talented teams across disciplines and cultures.
• Ability to foster a culture of innovation and drive business growth through technical expertise.
