Job summary

OMICRON electronics GmbH invites a DevOps professional to operate Linux servers and continuously optimize the system landscape. You will drive automation with Terraform and Ansible, manage CI/CD pipelines, and build container platforms using Rancher, AKS, and Azure Container Apps Environment.

You will collaborate with internal teams on architecture and Azure deployments, sharing expertise to solve complex challenges while benefiting from flexible work models and an international environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating and administering Linux environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and automation.
• Familiar with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Proficient with container technologies and Kubernetes.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.

Your role

• Operate, optimize, and continuously enhance our Linux server and system landscape
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
• Build and manage modern container platforms, including Rancher, AKS, and Azure Container App Environment
• Advise and support internal customers on architecture topics and deployments in Microsoft Azure
• Contribute to and actively drive exciting IT projects

• You have completed an IT education (apprenticeship, technical college, university degree, or equivalent) and/or bring relevant professional experience.
• You have hands-on experience in operating and administering Linux environments.
• You are confident working with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You are familiar with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• You work confidently with container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• You enjoy analyzing and solving complex technical challenges and are eager to explore new technologies.
