Fitch Group seeks a Master Data Management Operations Team Lead to lead the Jakarta-based MDM Operations team, acting as a local liaison for Data and Technology colleagues and strengthening regional collaboration and data governance.

The role focuses on high-quality data management for Legal Entity and Security data, with emphasis on coordinating resources, training, and policies to support data accuracy across downstream consumers.

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services, Financial Information Services, Market Data, Reference Data, Master Data Management or a related environment
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in leading, coaching, mentoring or coordinating a small team
• Solid understanding of Legal Entity and Security data
• Prior experience of working with a Master Data Management tool as a user is highly desired
• Excellent administration and communication skills, with a highly organised and methodical approach to work
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

The MDM Operations Team Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the Jakarta-based MDM Operations team. The role also acts as a local point of contact for Data and Technology colleagues, helping to strengthen collaboration, share local insights with regional teams, and foster an inclusive and engaging team environment.

The role requires the following experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services, Financial Information Services, Market Data, Reference Data, Master Data Management or a related environment
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in leading, coaching, mentoring or coordinating a small team
• Solid understanding of Legal Entity and Security data
• Fundamental knowledge of databases and how they work would be a plus
• Prior experience of working with a Master Data Management tool as a user is highly desired
• Excellent administration and communication skills, with a highly organised and methodical approach to work
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
