Overview

Role Summary: Machinist sets up and operates machine tools to produce or repair precision parts and instruments. Applies knowledge of mechanics, metal properties, machining procedures, and precision measurement to maintain quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machine tools and equipment
• Perform routine machining tasks following established procedures
• Assist in equipment maintenance and repairs
• Interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and use precision measuring instruments
• Follow safety and quality standards
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
