Cognizant is seeking a Java React Technical Lead (Full stack) to lead our Payments full‑stack delivery. You will own end‑to‑end development across Java back‑end services and React front‑end components, including CI/CD pipelines, builds, and releases.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure secure, scalable payment solutions aligned with business goals. Strong Java/React, DevOps, and agile delivery experience are required.

Position Summary:

• Java React Technical Lead (Full stack) is responsible for leading the Payments full-stack application development team and owning end-to-end delivery across Java back-end services and React front-end components, including CI/CD pipeline, build, and release activities. Designs, develops, and maintains enterprise applications in line with approved business and technical requirements, and provides technical guidance, code review, and delivery oversight to the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong Java back-end development experience covering design, coding, REST and microservices integration, debugging, and production support.
• Hands-on React front-end development of reusable, responsive, and maintainable components.
• Proven full-stack ownership across user interface, services, APIs, and database integration layers.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with pipeline setup and automation using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven or Gradle, SonarQube, and Docker.
• Experience with automated build, test, and deployment processes, branching strategies, and release management.
• Payment's domain delivery experience, including application workflows, integration touchpoints, defect resolution, and release support.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager for content-driven application components (desirable).
• Proven ability to lead development teams and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on Agile end-to-end delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the full-stack Payments development team to ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and technical deliverables.
• Design and develop Java-based services, APIs, and application components required for payment business processes and system integrations.
• Build and maintain responsive React user interface components aligned to approved design and usability standards.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines covering automated build, code-quality checks, test execution, packaging, and deployment.
• Implement branching, versioning, and release management practices, and support environment configuration and deployment readiness.
• Analyze functional requirements, translate them into full-stack technical solutions, and provide implementation guidance to team members.
• Review application design, code changes, and technical documentation for quality, maintainability, performance, security, and coding-standard compliance.
• Implement and support AEM components, templates, and content integrations required for digital application delivery.
• Participate in requirement discussions, estimation, sprint planning, daily tracking, and release readiness reviews.
• Support testing, defect triage, root-cause analysis, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization, including monitoring and reliability improvements.
• Mentor team members, maintain technical documentation, and ensure compliance with project processes, security practices, and delivery governance.

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional):

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Relevant Java, React, or DevOps / cloud certification (desirable).

Salary Range:>$100,000
