TRIGYN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an IBM DataStage Developer for a remote contractual opportunity. The role focuses on transforming and supporting DataStage jobs across various environments, with emphasis on migration readiness and performance optimization.

Applicants should bring 5+ years of hands-on DataStage experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting. The project spans global teams and will involve coordination during migration and post‑production stabilization.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (11.7/CP4D) development and support.
• Strong knowledge of Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs, Routines, Shared containers and Job Sequences.
• Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle / SQL).
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting or automation.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing DataStage jobs, dependencies, and interfaces for migration readiness.
• Design/Develop DataStage Jobs/Sequencers
• Compile, test, and validate migrated jobs to ensure successful execution.
• Perform data reconciliation and compare source, legacy, outputs to ensure no data discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize job performance in the environment.
• Coordinate with business, and application teams during migration and testing.
• Support migration deployment, cutover, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Participate in application performance testing and optimization.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support application releases.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.

Job Description:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (11.7/CP4D) development and support.
• Strong knowledge of Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs, Routines, Shared containers and Job Sequences.
• Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle / SQL)
• Strong experience with SQL/DataStage jobs tuning/optimization
• Experience with Sequential file, Mainframe files and Other file systems.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting or automation.
