Questel is looking for an FP&A team member in Arequipa to build business reviews and ensure data compliance. You will work closely with Sales and Operations, improving reporting processes and data quality. The role demands 0–5 years of accounting or FP&A experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an on-site role, it supports collaboration across teams. Fluent English is required.

NOTE: This is an on-site position in the city of Arequipa. This role is expected to work 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Peru Time (PET, UTC‑5) to support collaboration with teams in Europe.

As part of the FP&A Team within the Finance Department, you will be reporting to either an FP&A Analyst, FP&A Senior Analyst or Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver business reviews for key product lines, collaborating with Sales & Operations leaders to monitor performance.
• Ensure reliability, compliance with accounting rules, homogeneity, and completeness of data within deadlines.
• Maintain and improve the quality of data and production of the reporting.
• Run checks to ensure data consistency prior to reporting.
• Switch from Excel to BI tools for business reviews and consolidate data in a single environment.
• Increase automation and improve reporting processes to reduce delays.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data shared in reviews to better answer stakeholder needs (Operations & Sales).
• Help build monthly group reporting presented to investors after internal review.
• Ensure correct reporting of your perimeter within the group P&L.
• Run checks to maintain data consistency and collaborate with Finance teams to clean data.
• Help define allocation rules for P&L of Business Units.
• Organize budget meetings with Budget Owners, retrieve inputs during budget season.
• Integrate budget & forecast data into reporting to ensure ownership.

General

• Provide help to the team beyond your initial perimeter if useful for global consistency.
• Represent the FP&A Department and Questel Group positively, show initiative and willingness to go the extra mile.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in accounting or FP&A within an international group or delivering similar services via a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong accounting and Excel skills.
• Rigorous, organized, trustworthy and curious.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• Highly motivated, continuously seeking improvement and optimization.
• Fluent in English.
