The candidate will drive project planning, provide technical guidance, and act as the main technical contact post-implementation, while ensuring security, compliance, and documentation are maintained.

Formación

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience
• Experience with private/hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, and infra management
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms and VM deployment/management
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage, backup and disaster recovery concepts
• Familiar with NFVI architecture and deployment for scalable network services
• Automation and infrastructure-as-code tools; scripting languages
• Advanced English, written and spoken
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical problem-solving and adaptability

On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are seeking an experienced senior Engineer to join our team and support the delivery, implementation, and optimization of advanced IT infrastructure and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud environments, virtualization, networking, automation, and infrastructure management, with the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and cloud projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget requirements. Providing technical guidance and implementation expertise.
• Act as a primary technical contact for customers after implementation, addressing issues and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Monitor project performance, collect feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery and customer support.
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and operational activities across cloud and infrastructure environments.

We require:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering projects: Proven background of private/hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms, including virtual machine deployment, management, and resource optimization.
• Experience with storage technologies, including SAN and NAS environments, as well as backup and disaster recovery concepts, security and compliance.
• Familiar with NFVI architecture and deployment approaches for scalable network services.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools, along with scripting skills using languages.
• Degree in System Engineer, Computer Science or related IT/ICT major.
• Relevant professional certifications in cloud, virtualization, networking, or infrastructure technologies.
• Advanced English, written and spoken is mandatory.
• Strong communication, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges
• Adaptability and flexibility to support changing project requirements.
