A career as an expert in cloud computing and network engineering in the IT Infrastructure Evolution team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in cloud and network engineering. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your skills in designing, optimizing and managing network and telecom infrastructures in hybrid and cloud environments. Ensures secure and resilient connectivity with advanced network security policies.

Your job:

1. Architecture and design:

• Design and deploy network architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Optimize secure connectivity to the cloud (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute).
• Implement advanced network security architectures (Zero Trust, SASE).
• Provide workload isolation and traffic segmentation.
• Adopt software-defined networks (SD-WAN, SDN) and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Implement Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and micro-segmentation.
• Use AWS and Azure security groups for traffic control.

Support and Incident Resolution:

• Diagnose and resolve network, telecom, and cloud issues.
• Participate in crisis management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technology watch and innovation:

• Stay up to date on Cloud Networking, SDN, NFV, SASE and Zero Trust.
• Propose innovations for security and network connectivity.
• Participate in digital transformation projects.

Within the IT Infrastructure Evolution Senior Management sector, you are part of a large team of 129 people and report to the Senior Director. Prerequisite:

• University or other engineering-related studies and between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in network, telecom, security and cloud engineering in the large enterprise
• Desirable certifications: AWS Advanced Networking, Cisco CCNP, Checkpoint CCSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, AWS Security Specialty, Terraform, Ansible, Python for network automation
• Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Load Balancers
• Network Security: Zero Trust, SASE, Micro-Segmentation, Cloud Firewalls
• Workload isolation: Isolation of environments, separation of networks
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Python
• Network protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VXLAN, SD-WAN
• Innovative spirit, ability to rethink and redefine methods of approaching practices, controls and technological governance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team and encourage frank and effective discussions on substantive topics.
