We have partnered with a Global Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer to lead a search for their Plant Controller at their Northwest OH Manufacturing Plant. This newly created position offers significant growth opportunities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or CMA certification preferred
• 3 to 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and procedures
• Reliable attendance, accuracy, and efficiency to support team success
• Ability to work cooperatively within the team and with other departments to meet goals
• Highest level of integrity and adherence to business standards

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead and coordinate work of accounting associates across various accounting functions
• Prepare monthly financial reports and detailed analyses
• Participate in monthly closing processes, including control, analysis, reconciliation, and financial statement issuance
• Manage the general ledger
• Conduct product costing and profit analysis
• Manage Fixed Assets
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Handle governmental reporting
• Assist with audits by internal and external auditors
• Perform additional duties as requested

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB INFORMATION

• Ensure plant accounting processes conform to standards and guidelines, with analysis of processes and products essential for business reporting
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards such as IATF6949, ISO-9001, and ISO-14001 to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement
