BioMarin is seeking a Territory Manager to maximize sales and market share of its products in Lima, Peru. The role involves driving access to medicines, managing relationships with healthcare professionals, and achieving sales targets. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.
Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
The Territory Manager is responsible for maximizing sales, penetration, and market share of BioMarin's commercialized products in their region. This includes finding new patients, ensuring their access to medicine (prescription and sales), and maintaining adherence to treatment.
Responsibilities and functional oversight include: commercial operations, promotional activities, marketing operations, and relationship management.
This role requires strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer management skills. The individual must be adaptable, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently without direct reports, with sales targets aligned to the territory.
Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sales training is required. Knowledge of industry and local market conditions is essential. Intermediate English skills are required; advanced skills are a plus.
Travel up to 70% is expected. The role requires willingness to learn about new therapy areas and work with minimal supervision, driving projects independently or within small teams.
Laptop, iPad, and cell phone are required for the role.
