Your role at Clorox:

The Supply Planner is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels for FGs across the supply chain network, ensuring customer service levels, demand plan, manufacturing resources, and safety stock levels for all SKUs at all warehouses. This position owns the MPS (Master Production Schedule) for all manufacturing plants (including co-packing), RCCP (Root Cause Capacity Plan), and Inventory Policy for FGs (Master Data owner for MRP in SAP). It also supports Business and PSO strategies by leading supply planning for new products. The Supply Planner acts as a link between Demand Planners and Plant Managers to resolve production issues or bottlenecks in the short and long term.

In this role, you will:

  1. Inventory Analysis: Conduct daily inventory analysis for all SKUs, communicate alerts for potential Out Of Stock situations to Manufacturing and Sales teams.
  2. Supply Plan: Generate the MPS monthly for all manufacturing plants and develop the full fiscal year's production plan to support budget creation. Follow up on production plan execution.
  3. RCCP: Run Root Cause Capacity Plans for 12 to 18 months ahead to identify bottlenecks.
  4. Inventory Working Capital: Calculate FG inventory targets quarterly, analyze monthly results, and develop action plans to meet targets. Track R&P drivers and plans.
  5. Projects: Support supply strategy in project implementation and manage MRP setup in SAP.
  6. S&OP Process: Lead monthly Supply Review meetings, sharing KPIs and future production strategies. Participate in other S&OP meetings to stay aligned with demand and forecast changes.
  7. Inventory Write-offs: Monitor inventory write-offs and slow movers; identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
  8. Inventory Policy: Calculate safety stock levels to ensure product availability while balancing service levels and working capital.
  9. Volume/Sales Meetings: Participate weekly to discuss demand changes, supply issues, and necessary scheduling adjustments.
  10. Imports: Manage purchase orders for imported finished goods.
  11. Copackers: Generate supply plans and purchase orders, ensuring timely production and delivery.
  12. What-if Analysis: Anticipate future scenarios to manage and plan accordingly.
What we look for:

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain functions such as Supply Planning, Production Scheduling, Inventory Management, Logistics, Imports, Forecasting, and S&OP. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. English proficiency (Intermediate).

Preferred: Financial acumen, experience with planning tools like Kinaxis.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education:

College/University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
