Job summary

INNIO Jenbacher is seeking a project lead to own commercial and technical execution for service projects, including overhauls, repairs, relocations, upgrades, and plant modifications. You will collaborate with Service Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and top customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules and risks, and strive for exceptional project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Higher Technical Degree (e.g., HTL) in engineering, economics or related field.
• Experience in project management, ideally in energy, industrial equipment or reciprocating engines.
• Strong commercial understanding and customer focus.
• Team player with hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects from order booking through successful handover.
• Support continuous development of the Project Management Process and Tools based on KPI’s such as revenue, contribution margin, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery and inventories.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across technical and commercial disciplines.
• Manage project schedules, costs, risks, claims and payment milestones.
• Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and execution excellence.

At INNIO Jenbacher, you'll take ownership of commercial and technical project execution for service projects (overhauls, repair, relocations, upgrades as well as extended plant modifications). Working closely with Service Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Field Service teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest customer satisfaction standards.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor / Higher Technical Degree (e.g., HTL) in engineering, economics or any related area combined with high affinity to work on projects within a technical environment
• Experience in project management, ideally within energy, industrial equipment or reciprocating engines (the position on offer is also available as a junior role)
• Strong commercial understanding and customer focus
• Team player with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel ~ 10%
