About the Role

We are a well-established and growing precision manufacturing company seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our technical team. This is a confidential search for a leader with strong CNC programming expertise, tooling and fixture design skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting goals and priorities to meet company objectives.

• Oversee CNC programming for complex machined parts to ensure precision and efficiency.

• Select cutting tools, workholding fixtures, and machining strategies to optimize operations.

• Design custom fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing processes.

• Prepare competitive and accurate machining estimates from customer drawings or concepts.

• Manage multiple engineering projects from initial design to production launch.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.

• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (required).

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in CNC machining, programming, and manufacturing engineering.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam.

• Expertise in tool selection, fixture design, and machining process optimization.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience estimating machined components.
