Job summary

Schladming-Dachstein Tourismusmarketing GmbH sucht eine Führungskraft, die die operative Gesamtverantwortung für die Bus-Sparte übernimmt und deren strategische Entwicklung aktiv gestaltet. Sie leiten Mitarbeitende, entwickeln Strukturen weiter und treiben Digitalisierung sowie Effizienzsteigerungen voran.

Wichtige Voraussetzungen sind mehrjährige Führungserfahrung in Mobilität/Dienstleistung, ein betriebswirtschaftlicher oder tourismusbezogener Abschluss sowie unternehmerische Denkweise.

Qualifications

• Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung, ideal im Mobilitäts-/Dienstleistungssektor.
• Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaft, Tourismus oder Mobilitätsmanagement.
• Kenntnisse der Rechts- und Sozialvorschriften im Personenverkehr.
• Unternehmerische Denkweise und strategische Ausrichtung.

Responsibilities

• Gesamtverantwortung für Bus-Sparte inklusive Personalführung.
• Strategische Weiterentwicklung der Sparte in Abstimmung mit der Division.
• Identifikation neuer Geschäftschancen, Akquise von Neukunden, Pflege bestehender Kundenbeziehungen.
• Budgetplanung, KPI-Analyse, Kosten- und Kapazitätsoptimierung.
• Digitalisierung von Prozessen und Optimierung der Betriebsabläufe.

Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen stands for enthusiasm, quality, and unforgettable experiences. Our bus division is also an important part of our company: With 15 buses of our own—including 5 tour buses and 10 route, articulated, and city buses—as well as a team of about 30 employees, we provide mobility and travel experiences in the Schladming-Dachstein region and far beyond.

To further develop our existing business, tap into new market potential, and position our organization for the future, we are seeking an entrepreneurial leader who will assume overall operational responsibility for the bus division and actively shape its strategic development.

Your Responsibilities – Here’s Where You Can Make a Difference!

• Leadership & Organization: Overall responsibility for the bus division, managing employees, and further developing structures and processes
• Strategy & Business Development: Strategic advancement of the division in close coordination with division management
• Sales & New Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and strengthening existing customer relationships
• Financial Management: Budget planning and accountability, ongoing analysis of KPIs, and optimization of capacity utilization, costs, and revenues
• Digitalization & Process Optimization: Ensuring efficient and safe bus operations that meet our high quality standards, optimizing operational processes, and initiating and implementing digitalization measures

Your Profile – This Is What Will Impress Us!

• Several years of leadership experience, ideally in the mobility, transportation, or service sectors, and the ability to inspire people to work toward shared goals.
• Relevant professional experience and/or a degree in business administration, corporate management, tourism, or mobility management
• Knowledge of legal and social regulations governing passenger transportation
• Strong entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, as well as experience in business development
• Very good IT skills, a strong affinity for digital technology, and openness to new technologies
• A decisive, communicative, and thoughtful individual with a high degree of personal responsibility and strong leadership skills

What you move

• You take our passengers on scheduled services safely and punctually to their destination - or chauffeur groups to the most beautiful places in Europe.
• You are the contact person for information on excursion destinations and timetables and for ticket sales.
• You keep the bus clean and ensure safety on board.

What you need

• Driving license D, D95 qualification and driver's card
• Good knowledge of German
• Work experience is a bonus, but not a must!
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance, motivation and flexibility
• Full-time employment is not possible? No problem, we are also happy to offer part-time models.

Our team of bus drivers consists of 29 dedicated people who shine with their openness, warmth and friendliness. In winter, the bus fleet consists of a total of 18 buses:
5 coaches, 8 regular buses and combi buses (including articulated buses), 3 regular buses from Sampl, which are driven by our team, and 2 rental buses for regular services. The Planai bus covers up to 55,000 kilometers in one year. In winter, around 700,000 guests are transported on the Planai ski buses, in summer our passengers enjoy the great connection to all our side valleys with our hiking buses.
