Job Opportunity: BR Senior Accountant

Location: Jr. Camaná 851, Lima — one block from Plaza San Martín

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Position Type: Full-time / On-site

Position Overview

As a BR Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in leading accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, account analysis, and the migration of financial data to Intacct. You’ll guide the team, ensure compliance with deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy and efficiency across all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide the team with all necessary information to perform bank and payroll tax reconciliations within established closing timelines.
  • Propose effective solutions to daily operational challenges and issues during closing periods.
  • Assist in preparing and responding to audit requirements requested by the client.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Maintain and report operational status when necessary or requested by the client.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all client requests.
  • Supervise team output and ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
  • Support administrative tasks related to the department.
  • Assist the direct supervisor with daily assignments.
  • Collaborate in the transition of bank accounts to Intacct.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and email.
  • English as a second language (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule is a plus.
  • U.S. visa is a plus.
