CACEIS Malaysia, a cornerstone of asset servicing, seeks a Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and IT within the TA Transformation Programme. Based in IOI City, Putrajaya, you will support UAT planning, execution and sign-off across the Transfer Agency platform, ensuring releases meet operational standards.

You will translate user stories into test scenarios, coordinate with cross-geo teams, document test plans, and contribute to release notes.

As a Business Analyst, you will support the functional activities between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams within the CACEIS TA Transformation Programme, contributing to UAT planning, execution and signoff across the Transfer Agency platform, and helping to ensure that releases meet operational expectations and business quality standards.

What will you do?

• Support the UAT testing stream, adhering to test scope, entry/exit criteria and signoff conditions across application environments in alignment with sprint and release timelines.
• Translate User Stories into structured test scenarios covering Transfer Agency workflows, including subscriptions, redemptions, switches, transfers, corporate actions, regulatory reporting and settlement processing.
• Participate in UAT cycles with business stakeholders, capturing and channelling feedback between testers and IT delivery teams and contributing to sign-off documentation.
• Perform functional validation of business flows within the TA application, including digital and tokenized asset trading and stablecoin transaction handling, and flag observations on business impact / Data Intergrity to senior team members.
• Maintain UAT tracking artefacts including test plans and defect logs, ensuring traceability from requirement to test result under the guidance of test lead.
• Validate system configurations as part of UAT, checking user roles, entitlements and access rights in NOVA against business requirements and operational security standards.
• Identify and report functional gaps and regression risks during pre-production testing, escalating findings to the Scrum Master and delivery team for prioritisation ahead of production rollout.
• Contribute to release note production by documenting tested functionality, known limitations and business-facing change summaries for each TA Application release deployed to production.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Working knowledge of Transfer Agency operations across key domains including transaction processing, settlements, SWIFT messaging, Forex, dividend processing, trailer fees, commissions and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in UAT participation and execution, with an understanding of entry/exit criteria, test cycle management and stakeholder sign-off processes.
• Ability to translate User Stories and business requirements into structured test scenarios covering Transfer Agency workflows.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, with working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for sprint tracking, documentation and test artefact management.
• Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to relay feedback between business testing and IT delivery teams across geographies and time zones.
• Exposure to pre-production testing environments, including defect logging, regression risk identification and release readiness checks.
• Familiarity with system configuration validation, including user roles, entitlements and access rights in enterprise platforms.
