Job summary

FullStack is seeking an Agentic GCP DevOps Engineer to join our remote teams serving U.S. clients. You will work directly with client teams, embedding with designers and engineers to deliver AI-powered development workflows and reliable cloud-native deployments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering/DevOps, strong GCP experience, Docker/Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform, and excellent English communication. This is a 100% remote, international role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering/DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• GCP production experience with core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, GKE).
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native apps.
• IaC experience with Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver) in production environments.
• Ability to deliver on Agile/Scrum iterations.

• Integrate directly into our client's team and collaborate with designers and engineers daily.
• Contribute to AI-enabled engineering workflows and client projects.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, and operations across projects.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as an Agentic GCP DevOps Engineer.

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development routines.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically managing services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications in production environments.
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing GCP infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
