Job summary

FullStack is hiring an Agentic GCP DevOps Engineer to join our remote talent network supporting U.S. clients on flexible, project-based development work. You will integrate directly into client teams and collaborate with designers and engineers daily to deliver AI-powered software at scale.

We seek 5+ years of professional DevOps, strong GCP expertise, IaC skills, and excellent English. This role is 100% remote with competitive local-pay, growth opportunities, and ongoing education benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development routines.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native apps.
• IaC experience using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience with monitoring/logging/observability tools (Cloud Observability, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Demonstrated experience optimizing GCP infrastructure for scalability and cost.
• Ability to own work and drive results.

The Opportunity

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development routines.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically managing services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications in production environments.
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing GCP infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
