Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a field service professional to perform maintenance, inspections, and modifications on large gas turbines at customer sites across the region. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with shift leads, and supervise subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience on Advanced Frame Gas Turbines.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, technical instructions, and OEM documentation while adhering to FME principles.
• Certified or trained in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights, with a strong safety focus.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%, 200-250 days annually) and coordinate international assignments; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on large gas turbines and related equipment at customer sites across KSA and other locations.
• Coordinate with FS Shift Leads and FS Engineers to meet Siemens Energy quality, EHS, and project documentation standards.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, OEM specs, and work instructions to execute complex field tasks.
• Supervise subcontractors and uphold safety, quality, and workmanship during maintenance and outage activities.
• Lead safety programs, include PPE usage, risk assessments, pre-job briefings, and fostering a safety culture.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on large gas and steam turbines and associated equipment at customer sites across KSA and international locations.
• Coordinate closely with FS Shift Leads and FS Engineers to ensure all activities comply with Siemens Energy quality standards, EHS requirements, and project documentation.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, technical schematics, OEM specifications, and work instructions to execute complex field service tasks accurately.
• Supervise subcontractors and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality throughout maintenance and outage activities.
• Lead and participate in safety programs, including PPE compliance, risk assessments, pre-job safety briefings, and fostering a strong safety culture in high-risk work environments.

What You Bring

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience working on Advanced Frame Gas Turbines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, technical instructions, and OEM documentation while adhering to Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) principles.
• Certified or trained in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights, with a strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%, 200-250 days annually) and work demanding international assignment schedules, with strong English communication skills.
