Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years total experience in engineering or consultancy of oil and gas facilities.
• At least 10 years’ experience in TSE in Onshore Oil and Gas facilities with deliverables.
• PDO/Shell project experience preferred.
• Experience with Safety & Hazardous Area Classification, HSE philosophy, F&G layouts and risk assessments.
• Involvement in safety studies and safeguarding reviews; vendor document evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Project TSE experience spanning lifecycle stages such as Feasibility, Concept, FEED, EXECUTE, and transitions.
• Development of HSE Philosophy, Fire & Gas Philosophy, and related layouts and mappings.
• Physical Effects Modelling and QRA, including FEA/FGDEA and risk assessments.
• Conducted studies using Shell FRED/SHEPHERD or PEM/Risk tools; ALARP demonstrations.
• Leading/participating in HAZID, HAZOP, Bowties, and MOPO/SIMOP workshops.
• Involvement in safeguarding reviews and vendor document evaluations.

Minimum of 15 years total experience in engineering or consultancy of oil and gas facilities, including a minimum of 10 years’ experience in TSE in Onshore Oil and Gas facilities with demonstrated TSE deliverables development experience . (PDO/ Shell Projects experience is preferred)

• Project TSE experience spanning various Project Life cycle stages such as Feasibility, Concept, FEED, EXECUTE, Project to Asset Transition
• Development of HSE Philosophy, Fire & Gas Philosophy, F & G Cause and Effects, F & G Layouts, F & G Mapping
• Physical Effects Modelling and Quantitative Risk Assessment: Experience with FEA/FGDEA, flare radiation and dispersion studies, safety equipment layouts, input to facility layouts/facility siting and layout studies, EPZ calculation, QRA . Experience/conducted studies using Shell FRED, SHEPHERD software and or other PEM/Risk integration software. Formal certification preferred.
• Executed studies such as Safety Hazardous Area Classification, Critical Element Identification, Performance Standards, Bow Ties
• Experience with ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable), Design HSE Case, Operations HSE Case, AIPSM (Asset Integrity-Process Safety Management) & HEMP (Hazard and Effect Management Process)
• Hands-on experience with Loss prevention aspects such as Fire Safety, Fire Protection Design ( FW Demand, Hydraulics, Surge, PFDs/ P & IDs, etc.), Escape & Fire Fighting design
• Human Factors Engineering Studies experience (Valve Criticality, HFE Screening, etc)
• Facilitated/led workshops for Technical Safety, which may include but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, Bowties, ALARP demonstration, MOPO/SIMOPs workshop, SCE Identification workshops, DEM1/DEM2/LFI Screenings and demonstrations.
• Adequate involvement in Safeguarding reviews such as Design Review, HAZOP, IPF, etc.
• Involvement in Vendor documents evaluations (e.g. Technical Bid Evaluation, Datasheets/Specifications/MR
