Job summary

Sisco Jobs in Muscat, Oman, seeks an experienced Control Design Engineer for transformer control and protection schematics. You will design and review control circuits for cooling systems, RTCC cubicles, and interlocks, ensuring safety and compliance with international standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–6+ years in electrical control design, hands-on schematic drawing experience, and familiarity with EPLAN and AutoCAD. Knowledge of IS/IEC/ANSI standards and HMI/SCADA integration is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Preferred BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Additional training in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and review control and protection schematics for power and distribution transformers.
• Develop control circuit drawings for ONAN/ONAF cooling systems, RTCC cubicles.
• Engineer OLTC and OCTC control circuits with interlocks, indications and alarms.
• Integrate monitoring systems into transformer control arrangements.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, terminal schedules and operating manuals.
