Test Planning
- Act as test lead within the scrum team for managing system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing, coordinating with external bank teams for planning Performance and Security Testing related user stories.
- Review and provide feedback on functional/design documents as required, supporting their transition into user stories with acceptance criteria, estimations, and prerequisites to enforce the Definition of Ready (DoR).
- Prepare sprint test plans for each user story and manage daily test planning, ensuring coordination with the respective bank’s scrum team for System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Participate in sprint review/demonstration sessions with Product Owner and stakeholders, collecting feedback and converting it into user stories for the product backlog related to corresponding features.
Test Case Preparation & Management
- Collaborate with business, IT, and operations teams to prepare test cases and scenarios.
- Review test cases/scenarios with testing team members and obtain sign-off.
- Document all test-related documents including test plans, test cases, test scenarios, defect reports, and test results.
- Ensure comprehensive testing across various backend systems such as Temenos T24, ESB middleware, TSYS Prime, ETL, NewGen IBPS, NewGen RLOS, and others for Credit Administration.
- Manage blockers, defects, and decisions during testing, pilot, and post-go-live phases, escalating issues to senior management as needed.
- Coordinate a cohesive test plan across all impacted agile teams, ensuring a unified approach for testing and input collection.
Testing Execution
- Manage and execute testing activities with bank’s in-house team members.
- Collaborate with the bank testing team to prepare test plans, test cases, and other documents, and conduct UAT.
- Ensure UAT testing follows the plan and regularly update stakeholders on testing progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in testing, with preference for test management experience.
- Background in BPM for branch process automation, corporate banking functions (e.g., Loans, Collaterals, Limit Structures), credit administration, and domain expertise in core Banking modules.
