Jumeirah Muscat Bay invites applications for a Technician - Audio Visual - Engineering to join our engineering team. You will manage and maintain marina technical systems, ensuring safe operation of AV and related infra, and support daily resort operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all marina technical systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure operation of seawater circulation, sanitary facilities, substations, pump stations, sewage treatment, water tanks, parking areas and piers.
• Coordinate disposal of hazardous waste per regulations.
• Arrange external maintenance and support Marina Manager budgets.
• Inspect safety equipment and assist vendors during onsite works.
• Monitor water/electricity consumption and maintain project documentation.

About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician - Audio Visual - Engineering to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

• Manage and maintain all technical systems and infrastructure within the marina, including sewage, water, electrical power systems, buildings, roads, pontoons, pedestals, lighting, pump-out systems, access gates, fire protection systems, and all related equipment.
• Ensure the proper operation and compliance of seawater circulation systems, sanitary facilities, substations, pump stations, sewage treatment systems, water tanks, parking areas, coastal zones, piers, and other prefabricated structures.
• Coordinate the disposal of hazardous waste through authorized service providers and ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
• Arrange and oversee external maintenance services for marina infrastructure that cannot be managed internally, and support the Marina Manager in preparing and controlling technical maintenance budgets.
• Inspect and ensure the functionality and compliance of all marina safety equipment and systems, while assisting the Facility Management Company and external vendors during onsite works, including the issuance of work permits.
• Monitor and analyze water and electricity consumption, ensure accurate monthly meter readings, maintain technical and project documentation, and record and report any damage to structures or systems for insurance purposes.
