The Opportunity

Due to the school’s continued growth, we are seeking to appoint an inspiring Teacher of English to start in August 2025. The successful candidate will be able to make a significant contribution in helping establish the English Department for Cheltenham Muscat as the best in the city. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong teacher to become part of the team that will establish Cheltenham Muscat as the leading school in Oman.

The School

Cheltenham Muscat opened in September 2021 and is Oman’s first, premium, British school, for boys and girls aged 3 to 18. The Person

We are looking for a committed teacher who is passionate about their work and motivated by the opportunity to inspire our students. The successful candidate will have high expectations of themselves and their students, both in the classroom and beyond, with a positive outlook and the ability to build strong relationships within our school community.

Please note that candidates must have at least 3 full years of relevant teaching experience to obtain a work permit to teach in Oman.
