Responsibilities

• Perform sewing, mending, altering, and fitting duties on uniforms, costumes, linens, and guest clothing as required.
• Ensure proper fitting and tailoring of all team member uniforms according to company standards and dress codes.
• Take accurate measurements and provide recommendations for alterations and fittings.
• Repair damaged garments, including replacing zippers, buttons, linings, and other fastenings.
• Maintain sewing equipment (machines, scissors, irons) in good working condition.
• Track and document all tailoring and repair work completed.
• Assist in the issuance, labeling, and inventory of uniforms and wardrobe items.
• Ensure that all finished work meets the required quality and aesthetic standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Respond to urgent requests, including last-minute fittings and repairs, especially during events or peak operations.
• Assist with uniform room duties when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress, or garment technician.
• Skilled in operating sewing machines, overlockers, and other tailoring tools.
• Strong understanding of different fabric types and tailoring techniques.
• Ability to take precise measurements and complete alterations accurately.
• Basic record-keeping and inventory skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal tailoring or fashion training is a plus.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
