Job summary

ZRVS in Muscat, Oman is seeking an experienced Switchgear Wireman responsible for wiring and assembling LV/MV control panels, MCCs, and distribution boards.

You will read electrical drawings and schematics, install components, perform point-to-point wiring, and maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of panel wiring experience and an ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of panel wiring experience.
• Hands-on experience with LV/MV control panels, MCCs, and distribution boards.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of LV/MV electrical control panels.
• Wire and assemble MCC panels, distribution boards, and switchgear panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install and connect electrical components per approved drawings.
• Conduct point-to-point wiring, cable dressing, termination, and labeling.
• Inspect wiring and connections for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and rectify wiring errors and electrical faults.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment safely.
• Follow wiring standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.

Job Summary

A leading company in Oman is seeking an experienced Switchgear Wireman with hands-on expertise in electrical panel wiring and assembly. The ideal candidate should be capable of reading electrical drawings and wiring LV/MV control panels, distribution boards, and MCC panels accurately while following electrical safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of LV/MV electrical control panels.
• Wire and assemble MCC panels, Distribution Boards (DBs), and switchgear panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install and connect electrical components according to approved drawings.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, termination, and labeling.
• Inspect wiring and connections for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and rectify wiring errors and electrical faults.
• Ensure proper use of hand tools, testing equipment, and wiring accessories.
• Follow electrical wiring standards, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Panel Wiring & Assembly.
• Hands-on experience with LV/MV Control Panels, Distribution Boards, and MCC Panels.
• Practical knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices.
