Job summary

ZRVS in Muscat, Oman seeks an experienced Switchgear Wireman to join our electrical panel wiring team. You will read electrical drawings and wire LV/MV control panels, MCC panels, and distribution boards with precision, following safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of hands-on experience in panel wiring, understands wiring diagrams, and can work independently or as part of a skilled crew.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years experience wiring LV/MV panels.
• Experience with LV/MV control panels and MCC panels.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of LV/MV electrical control panels.
• Wire and assemble MCC panels, Distribution Boards (DBs), and switchgear panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install and connect electrical components according to approved drawings.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, termination, and labeling.
• Inspect wiring and connections for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and rectify wiring errors and electrical faults.
• Ensure proper use of hand tools, testing equipment, and wiring accessories.
• Follow electrical wiring standards, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.

The ideal candidate should be capable of reading electrical drawings and wiring LV/MV control panels, distribution boards, and MCC panels accurately while following electrical safety and quality standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile
