Oman Investment Authority is seeking an accomplished senior leader to drive strategic direction and operational excellence for ASYAD Freezones. The role requires a proven track record in freezone operations, logistics, and strategy to advance growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of senior management experience in port operations, logistics, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with ASYAD's mission and vision.
• Operational Management: Oversee freezone operations, ensuring high service, safety, and compliance standards and synergies with ports.
• Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage budgets; provide financial insights to the CEO.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with government, industry partners, clients, and investors.
• Talent Management: Foster leadership culture and develop top talent within the organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Leadership

Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute the company s strategic plans to achieve long-term goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall Asyad s mission and vision.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company s market presence and profitability.

Operational Management

Operational Excellence and Synergies: Oversee the efficient management of all freezone operations, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and compliance as well as maximizing the synergies between the freezones and ports.

Technical Management: Oversee the efficient management of all freezone operations, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and compliance as well as maximizing the synergies between the freezones and ports.

Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Financial Stewardship

Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing insights and recommendations to the CEO.

Stakeholder Engagement

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 12 years of senior management experience in port operations, logistics, or a related industry. Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and achieving business growth.
