Job summary

Prysmian in Oman seeks a Production Planner responsible for coordinating production workflows and ensuring efficient operations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, and 2-5 years of experience, especially in the cable manufacturing industry.

The role involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring production to achieve optimal performance and minimal delays while collaborating with various departments, including quality control and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related industries.
• Experience in the cable manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow for multiple finished goods.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance.
• Determine equipment and raw materials to meet production demand.
• Assist in preparation and revision of the Manufacturing Completion Program.
• Monitor production lines to ensure scheduling and budgeting.
• Submit status and performance reports.

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Relationship management skills

Ability to take timely actions and decisions

Proven experience as production planner

Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles

Experience in Manufacturing Resource Planning

Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

Good at math and statistics

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
