Job summary

GulfDesign UAE in Muscat, Oman is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. You will handle framing, roofing, and finishing tasks, read blueprints, take precise measurements, and cut materials to build walls, roofs, and floors.

The role requires knowledge of various woods and materials, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a crew. A full-time position with a monthly salary and benefits is offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

Experience as Carpenter in construction.
Ability to read blueprints and use various tools.
Knowledge of wood types and materials.
Physically fit for manual labor.
Strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

Study specifications in blueprints and take measurements to plan the layout for construction projects.
Cut, shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools.
Build structures such as walls, roofs, floors using different types of wood.
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings.
Inspect work progress to ensure that it meets the project specifications.
Repair any damages or defects in existing structures.
Follow safety procedures at all times on site.
