Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Turnaround / Shutdown experience in mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance.
• Expertise in Reformer, Reactor, Heat Exchangers, and pressure vessels.
• Knowledge in scope preparation for maintenance contracts including turnaround works.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Oversee the end-to-end workflow of shutdown work notifications and work order processes.
• Ensure rigorous review and quality assurance of new maintenance notifications for data completeness, adequacy, and quality.
• Classify work correctly according to established standards and procedures.
• Perform job-site field checks in collaboration with maintenance supervisors to enable accurate planning of shutdown / turnaround notifications and work orders.
• Develop and update job plan packages for shutdown jobs, ensuring alignment with company maintenance standards and procedures.
• Prepare detailed shutdown schedules in coordination with Maintenance and Production departments.
• Identify and evaluate any significant additions to the scope of work and make necessary adjustments to schedules.
• Collaborate with the materials store to ensure the availability of inventory materials for shutdown jobs.
• Support the contracting management process by reviewing criteria for vendor selection, participating in site and workshop visits, providing input for optimal contract scopes and contractor performance review.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering / Electrical / Instrumentation or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of Turnaround / Shutdown experience in mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance operating at an oil & gas or petrochemical company.
• Rotating and Static Equipment , Piping /Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance
• Expertise in Reformer, Reactor, Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, HV/LV Motors, transformers, and instrumentation maintenance
• Knowledge in maintenance of valves, strainers, steam traps, filters, etc
• Knowledge in piping fabrication and installation
• Shutdown/Turnaround maintenance Planning/Scheduling
• Knowledge in scope preparation for maintenance contracts including shutdown/Turnaround works.
• Maintenance Software (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, etc.)
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
