Job summary

Baker Hughes in Oman is seeking a Services Specialist – General Operations and Support to optimize daily production and resource coordination within our Drilling Services team.

You will lead daily operations, develop production plans, implement process controls, and support strategic manpower and equipment planning. The role emphasizes collaboration with diverse teams while maintaining safety and efficiency in a demanding energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of service industry experience if no degree.
• Experience handling Radioactive Sources management.
• Baker Hughes Experience is preferable

As " Services Specialist – General Operations and Support " you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy


• Lead and assist in daily operations ;Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plans and coordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition


• Developing and implementing process controls


• Supporting operations leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources

Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information. Handling simple project processes. There are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge. A framework of conditions is set. Handling targeted clients. To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
