As part of the Commercial department, provide support to the Utilities Sales Manager in implementing marketing strategy to maximize sales and increase revenue for OCI through agents and distributors, thereby achieving the business plan objectives set by the company.
Key Deliverables
- Establish contact with customers, including agents and local distributors, through personal contacts, telephone, email, etc., and build rapport with top decision makers. Identify and evaluate changes in the marketing environment and develop appropriate responses.
- Supervise follow-up on order status and resolve any technical or commercial queries in conjunction with the technical/project team and the Manager.
- Supervise booking metals at the London Metal Exchange based on sales orders, in coordination with finance.
- Manage follow-up payments with finance and logistics departments for payments and delivery.
- Coordinate with the Customer Support Service department for issuing sales orders and related documentation, and prepare invoices for customers.
- Ensure customer compliance with payment terms.
- Oversee the smooth transfer of goods and after-sale service if required.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize activities such as customer prospecting calls, appointments, care visits, follow-ups, training, demonstrations, and internal meetings.
- Submit sales quotations and negotiate/follow up with customers to convert inquiries into sales orders.
- Process sales orders ensuring necessary technical approvals from customers.
- Coordinate internally with planning and technical departments for processing inquiries and orders, ensuring timely execution.
- Ensure timely collection of payments through proper documentation submission to customers.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing and new customers, consultants, and contractors.
- Evaluate market potential and competitive influences in assigned territories.
- Negotiate cost-effective contracts with selected customers, companies, and agents.
- Provide accurate and timely reports as required.
Qualifications
Job Profile: Diploma/Bachelor's in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing, or Diploma in Marketing, Commerce, or Economics.
