Job summary

Oman Refinery is seeking a Sr Engineer RBI to provide robust technical support for RBI analyses across the corrosion circuit at OQ8. You will lead corrosion assessments, develop guidelines, and supervise RBI studies in alignment with API, ASME, NACE AMPP, and local regulations.

The role requires extensive experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with operations and inspection teams to optimize risk-based inspection plans and integrity decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical) or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in RBI, corrosion, and integrity management.
• Experience with process plant drawings, maintenance, and inspection planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead corrosion management and RBI activities for refinery units.
• Develop CCDs, corrosion loops, and materials guidelines.
• Guide RBI studies and risk-based inspection plans.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement in integrity programs.
