Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee QS aspects of road and infrastructure projects as PMC. Assignment runs until the end of 2026 with potential extension. You will lead a team, prepare cost estimates, review BOQs, and manage subcontractor agreements to keep costs in check.

You must have 10+ years in road QS, a relevant degree, RICS or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel to Saudi Arabia is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on road projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional membership with a recognized institution, such as RICS or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of road construction techniques and industry practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software for cost estimation and project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for accurate cost analysis.
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for project-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for road projects.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide accurate cost forecasts.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting key milestones and project status.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve cost-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and contract conditions.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on cost-effective solutions for road infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
