The Senior Quality Engineer must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 3 years in a Brownfield environment such as refineries, gas plants, or LNG facilities. Experience in both small and major projects is required.
The candidate should be qualified to Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Quality discipline from a recognized international institution and preferably be professionally qualified (e.g., CEng, PE, EUR Ing, or equivalent), or hold a professional level such as CSWIP.
Previous experience working under Quality Standards is mandatory. The Senior Quality Engineer must be fully familiar with Oil & Gas Quality Systems and the rigorous procedures outlined under DEP’s and QVMS’s.
The role involves coordinating the application of the Company Quality Management System to the project, reporting to the Project Lead. Responsibilities include defining the Project Quality Management System, verifying project procedures, maintaining system integrity, promoting quality requirements, conducting audits, managing nonconformities, and supporting relations with clients and authorities.
Additional duties involve systematic collection of lessons learned, preparing quality control specifications, coordinating checks with technical departments and clients, issuing quality requirements in contractual documents, conducting periodic reviews, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
