Wood is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer for a one-year secondment role in Muscat, Oman. The successful candidate will have over 15 years of experience in similar projects and hold a Process/Chemical Engineering degree with relevant certification.

This role involves executing and monitoring Process Safety activities, leading technical designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while working on significant projects within the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects.
• Relevant certification in Process Safety Engineering.
• Experience in refinery and petrochemical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the activities and processes associated with Process Safety Engineering.
• Lead technical design for Process Safety Engineering.
• Monitor quality assurance program for project requirements.
• Prepare documentation and ensure optimal Process Safety design.
• Liaise with Vendor representatives on process design matters.
