Job summary

Oman Refinery in Oman Muscat MAF is seeking a Lead Engineer Process - MAF to lead process engineering activities, drive optimization initiatives and support maintenance and operations teams across the MAF refinery.

You will act as a senior SME for process optimization standards, guiding engineers and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to deliver improvements and reliable performance. English proficiency is essential, Arabic desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of written, read and spoken English.
• Arabic language native desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering processes and procedures implementation to minimize downtime and ensure timely technical support.
• Provide focused technical engineering support to maintenance and operations teams in MAF plants.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure project targets are achieved efficiently.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs and other departments on optimization opportunities.
• Prepare budgets and identify opportunities to optimize operations across process units.
