The project:

Be a part of our international consultancy business that spans five global hubs, overseeing work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors. Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate portfolio and programme management experience.
  • Lead a scheduling community across the Portfolio and project teams.
  • Develop and build an integrated baseline.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain Primavera P6 software.
  • Oversee performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver and train teams on earned value management, interface management, quality assurance of timeline data, etc.
  • Present and train internally to the City SLT, project teams, and their supply chain.
  • Be accountable for the planning function on allocated projects or tenders.
  • Ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
  • Support project management in delivering projects on time and profitably.
  • Plan medium to high complexity projects, portfolio projects, or sections of larger projects.
  • Apply specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Maintain good knowledge of planning/scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project controls methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Influence on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals delivering planning and schedule management services, responsible for team and individual development.
  • Influence clients to accept proposals and recommendations.
  • Perform tasks required to fulfill project or assignment requirements.
  • Work collaboratively towards the goal of net zero carbon transition, with shared responsibility for managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
