Job summary

hudsonmanpower seeks a Senior Engineer to lead detailed design of Overhead Transmission Lines up to 400 kV. The role requires extensive front-end and detailed design experience in power systems, strong English communication, and proficiency with PLS CADD and Sag-Ten.

The candidate should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in OHL design, and familiarity with international design standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO, BS). ISO 9001 QA environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Over 10 years' experience in OHL detailed design in a consultancy or large EPC.
• Fluent in English with strong report-writing and MS Office skills.
• Experience with PLS CADD or Sag-Ten for plan/profile drawings.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ISO, BS design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of Overhead Transmission Lines up to 400 kV.
• Perform sag-tension calculations and plan/profile drawings.
• Review pole/tower drawings, conductor sizing, and hardware drawings.
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and vendors.
• Promote safe work practices and effective communication.
