Job summary

Anotech is seeking an experienced Commissioning ICSS Supervisor for offshore oil & gas projects in Oman. You will lead ICSS commissioning, start-up activities, and safety readiness, ensuring compliance with project specs and company standards.

You will review documentation, coordinate with Operations and Vendor teams, and develop procedures for smooth handover and First Oil, while training field personnel on new systems and safety processes.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma or Technical Diploma in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Control & Instrumentation within offshore oil & gas operations.
• Proven track record in ICSS commissioning, start-up and operational readiness (ESD, F&G).
• Strong knowledge of FAT/SAT, loop and functional testing, punch management, construction verification, and P&ID updates.
• Experience with HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, PTW, risk assessments and ATEX compliance.
• Offshore production and operations experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ICSS commissioning, testing, and start-up activities (FAT/SAT, loop checks, functional testing).
• Review operational and commissioning documentation for safe start-up and First Oil.
• Verify construction against approved 3D models and company standards; resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee ATEX inspections and operational testing to ensure compliance.
• Act as ICSS Discipline Advisor supporting Operations and Production teams.
• Develop start-up procedures and train field personnel on new systems and safety processes.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety reviews to promote an incident-free culture.
• Manage punch lists: identify, categorize, close-out, escalate critical issues.
• Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth start-up readiness.
• Maintain commissioning documentation, red-line P&IDs, handover packages.
