Job summary

A leading global energy company seeks a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Oman to oversee maintenance strategies for refinery equipment. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, and over eight years of experience in the oil and gas sector, demonstrating leadership and proficiency in maintenance strategies. Responsibilities include leading assessments, collaborating with teams, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure compliance with technical standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of API, ASME, and NBIC standards.
• Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical integrity assessments and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address integrity and performance issues.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.
