Job summary

OQEP's Joint Ventures Growth & Development function in Oman is seeking a senior professional to drive evaluation of growth and development projects across JV assets, applying petroleum engineering and commercial frameworks to optimize value and asset performance.

You will lead multi-discipline assessments, liaise with JV partners and authorities, and guide asset development plans, budgets, and due diligence to protect OQEP's interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, or related engineering field is required.
• Postgraduate qualification (MSc or MBA) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline assessments for joint venture assets, focusing on petroleum engineering evaluations.
• Represent OQEP in technical meetings with JV partners and government authorities.
• Develop alternative development strategies with relevant functions to address market changes.
• Review and validate technical reserves estimation and reporting.
• Lead audits, cost and production allocation reviews for JV assets.
