Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join the Technical Support Team under the Global Manufacturing Organization. You will design, develop, install, manage and maintain instrumentation systems across downstream facilities.

You will also provide technical support on high priority systems issues. Based in Saudi Arabia, you will lead audits, lifecycle management, and knowledge capture while acting as SME for instrumentation and driving continuous improvement aligned with API, BS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 12+ years experience in refining/oil gas/petrochemical industries.
• Proficient with API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with field instrument types and applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, support, training to plant departments.
• Monitor instrumentation performance across downstream departments.
• Assess instrumentation performance and recommend improvements for system optimization.
• Develop lifecycle management activities for instrumentation systems.
• Establish auditing guidelines and perform frequent instrument audits.
• Lead development of new strategies and validate feasibility of productivity improvements.
• Ensure manufacturing knowledge is captured in the knowledge repository and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide awareness sessions and lead technical exchanges and conferences.
• Maintain instrumentation systems knowledge repository.
• Act as SME in Instrumentation and contribute to troubleshooting activities.
