A leading energy company in Oman is looking for an experienced financial accountant to manage complex accounting tasks and ensure compliance with IFRS standards. The role involves supporting group financial consolidation and preparing consolidated financial reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA qualification, and 8-10 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas sector. A strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation processes, and expertise in SAP is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in relevant accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in Oil and Gas/Energy industry preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Assist in execution of complex transactions like asset impairments.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Strategy, Legal, and Finance functions.
